Guitars and things

I’ve been looking at guitars again, this time to replace (yes you heard me, replace) my acoustic.

I’m thinking about getting an electro-acoustic and ‘upgrading’ from my old (and somewhat trusty) Tanglewood SG-BK, the black acoustic with seaguls on the scratchplate, sounds strange I know, but it plays well, for the price I paid.

Of flying hedgehogs and missing limbs

Ok, maybe I should justify that comment there, it’s the feedback that I’ve received from friends who have seen this new version of the warliss.com theme.

One said the background at the top looked like it had a flying hedgehog in (good luck if you can spot it, I can’t!) and another friend said it looked like a battle scene with a leg being blown off.

Can’t think why I took both as a compliment…

The day the rains came…

I am currently on a train, hit by delays and trying to get home. I left Sheffield on the 16:11 Transpennine Express to Cleethorpes. My Boss was good enough to let me try and get the earlier train (Cheers Mike this was much appreciated.)

When I got to the station there was about a 25 minute delay…

warliss.com has been on the go since about 2002, I’m entering the fifth year of not working that much on it, hopefully that will change. I’m currently working on a new WordPress theme for warliss.com and it’s got me thinking about all the other versions that have gone before.
