All I can think when I watched that was, erm woohoo?

The more stunning thing was the BMW driver Robert Kubica got his first podium finish. It was only his third F1 race since taking the seat from Jacques Villeneuve.

But to focus on Schumachers retirement, the pundits were saying it was happening from the outset of the coverage (and probably the qualifying coverage too, but I never saw that.)
